Edward G. RobinsonLittle Caesar (1931). (born Emanuel Goldenberg;1893–1973) is a Hollywood legend who was born in Romania.

Although he has played a wide range of characters, he is best remembered for his roles as a gangster, most notably in the film

Robinson's family immigrated to New York City in 1903. A star in
scores of movies, he is best for his portrayal of gangster Rico
Bandello, the crime lord in Little Caesar.  After the success of Little
Caesar, Robinson joined James Cagney and Humphrey Bogart in Warner
Brothers' crop of gangster movies in the 1930s and 1940s.
